Consultation: End-to-end Standards Development Process
Statements
Standards Australia is undertaking an independent review of our end-to-end standards development process. The goal is to explore how we can better support national priorities and industry needs, while becoming more effective, efficient, and inclusive.
The review will focus on three key pillars:
- How we prioritise and assess the need for new or revised standards, including across emerging sectors
- The effectiveness and efficiency of the full development lifecycle
- The strength and integrity of our governance, policies, and committee structures
We are inviting feedback from contributors, regulators, industry, and other key stakeholders. There are three ways to get involved:
- Submit written feedback by 19 September 2025
- Participate in interviews or focus groups
- Join an in-person or virtual workshop
Access the Consultation Paper to learn more about the review, the key areas we are seeking feedback on, and to register your participation.
