Following the Australian Government's announcement in the 2026-27 Budget, Standards Australia is working towards sponsored access to selected Australian Standards referenced in Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation and regulations - including those relating to construction, manufacturing, agriculture, workplace health and safety and product safety.
We are working closely with the Australian Government to implement this productivity-focused reform, through a simple, online, read-only experience as soon as practicable.
This is meaningful and practical reform that will enhance accessibility for the businesses, workers and communities that rely on standards every day.
