Workplace Health and Safety Policy

Standards Australia is committed to providing a physically safe workplace, safe working methods, and the provision of safe equipment for all employees and visitors.

This is why we have recently reviewed and revised our Workplace Health and Safety Policy in line with ongoing COVID-19 developments.

Standard Australia’s preference is that all employees, contractors, and visitors who attend the Standards Australia offices are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and maintain their full vaccination status on an ongoing basis in accordance with relevant health advice.

Employees, contractors, and visitors who are not fully vaccinated with an approved COVID-19 vaccine who must attend the Standards Australia office will need to undertake a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on arrival at a pre-arranged place and time. Please let your Standards Australia contact know if this is the case and they will assist with organising the RAT upon arrival.

Should the RAT indicate a positive result, the visitor must immediately leave the office and self-isolate according to the relevant health advice and notify their contact at Standards Australia as soon as possible.

If you are displaying COVID-19 symptoms ahead of your attendance at the Standards Australia office, please notify your contact and stay home.

If you have questions about Standards Australia’s Workplace Health and Safety Policy, please contact your Standards Australia representative.
