Their support extended well beyond funding and logistics, encompassing months of dedicated training, webinars, face-to-face sessions, and invaluable feedback. Nic Millar and Josi Cuccurullo guided and challenged our students throughout their preparation, helping them develop their standards documents and presentations right up until the day before the competition. And, of course, there were the ‘vibes’, as the girls called them, which kept their spirits high throughout the competition! It has not only empowered our students to compete on an international stage but has also enlightened our school and wider community about the vital role standards play in shaping our world. As it was our first time competing, this result was completely unexpected and made the achievement even more rewarding.
